Tami Weissert: How you treat God has a lot to do with answered prayer -- here's Woodrow Kroll with today's Bible Minute.

Woodrow Kroll: This is from Ezekiel 8:18. He says, "Therefore I will deal with them [that's Israel ] in anger; I will not look on them with pity or spare them. Although they shout in my ear, I will not listen to them" (NIV).

Micah 3:4: "Then they will cry out to the Lord, but He will not answer them. At that time He will hide His face from them because of the evil they have done" (NIV). This is God saying, "Listen, if you want My ear, you need to have clean hands and a pure heart." The way you treat God keeps God from hearing what you have to say to Him.
