Tami Weissert: How often do you thank Jesus for being your Savior? Here's Woodrow Kroll with the Bible Minute.

Woodrow Kroll: Luke 2 not only records the birth of the baby, Jesus; but it also records stories of two people who encountered Jesus as a young baby. Simeon is the man who took Jesus and he praised God for the child. And the other person was Anna. Luke 2:36, 37 and 38 records her story. "Anna, a prophet, was also there in the Temple...She came along just as Simeon was talking with Mary and Joseph, and she began praising God. She talked about the child [Jesus] to everyone who had been waiting expectantly for God to rescue Jerusalem" (Luke 2:36-38, NLT, paraphrases).

Notice what her thanksgiving is all about. She is thanking God that there is a Savior.
