Woodrow Kroll: It's the crown of glory, according to the Bible, sometimes called the shepherd's crown because this is a crown that seems to be reserved for those who are pastors. [It] seems to be reserved for those who serve the Lord as a shepherd.

If you're a pastor today, you have one of the most difficult jobs in the world. But the Bible tells us that a pastor is one who receives a crown based on the work he does as shepherd. And that means not just presenting yourself to the sheep, but caring for the sheep. And a pastor's work is never done. And if you do this work faithfully and you do it as to the Lord, He says, "I have a crown waiting for you, and it's called the crown of glory."
