Title: Crown of Life
Tami Weissert: Ever heard of the crown of life? Woodrow Kroll takes a Bible Minute to explain this special reward. Woodrow Kroll: The final one is called the crown of life. This is sometimes called the sufferer's crown because it's given to those people who have suffered, even sometimes called the martyr's crown because it's given to those who die for the faith. 2 Timothy 3:12, "Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted." If you live a godly life, you can mark it down, you will be persecuted as a result. But the crown of life is given to those who withstand that persecution. James 1:12, "Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love Him." Tami Weissert: Jesus is fully aware of what you suffer for Him and He rewards it. Learn more at bibleminute.org.
