Tami Weissert: What's love got to do with it? Woodrow Kroll has today's Bible Minute on salvation.

Woodrow Kroll: "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him" (1 John 2:15 ). How do you know if you're born again and you've been the recipient of God's love? It will show in what you love.

We're all fellow-strugglers in a very sinful world; and we're trying to get along and do the best we can, but this is a world that is saturated with things that are not godly things. Now, what this verse ( 2:15 , paraphrase) says is, "You're no longer enamored with the things that used to enamor you. You're not into power trips anymore, you're not into just casual sex anymore, you're not into putting people down, you're not into showing your power over them."
