Woodrow Kroll: Verse 24, 1 John 3, "Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the [Holy] Spirit whom He has given us."

See, it's the presence of the Holy Spirit of God that says to me, "You know that day you trusted Christ as your Savior? Something actually happened that day."

It is the presence of God's Spirit in your life, helping your conscience to know right from wrong, helping you to want to show your love and demonstrate it in tangible ways. It's the presence of the Spirit of God in your life that speaks loudly to you that you indeed are a child of God.
