Title: Better Than Angels - 2
Tami Weissert: Jesus and angels--there's really no comparison. Here's today's Bible Minute from Hebrews 1. Woodrow Kroll: When you compare Jesus to the angels, verse 5 (of Hebrews 1), it says, "For to which of the angels did He ever say: 'You are My Son?'" You see, not only does Jesus have a superior relationship to the Father by virtue of His name; He has a superior relationship to the Father by virtue of His position. He is the Son of God. God called Jesus, "My Son," and Jesus called the Father, "My Father." That shows a familial relationship that is not just a relationship like angels have to God. No angel was ever called "My Son," singular. That means then, the relationship between Jesus and God the Father is not only a solid relationship, but it's a relationship no one else can claim.
