Tami Weissert: We won--big time! Here's the Bible Minute with Woodrow Kroll.

Woodrow Kroll: At Calvary, Satan lost. And oh, by the way, at Calvary, we won big-time because Jesus demonstrated God's love there in a way that can never be demonstrated any place else. Because He went to the Cross, we don't have to.

Why did He have to do it? Isn't there another way? The Bible says no, there isn't another way. And that's why Jesus can say, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me," (John 14:6) because only Jesus died on the cross for our sins.

We can have a new life in Christ. We can be forgiven. We can be redeemed. That comes when someone pays the penalty to provide forgiveness for us. That's what Jesus did at the Cross.
