Tami Weissert: Lukewarm--it's not a good thing. Listen to today's Bible Minute with Woodrow Kroll.

Woodrow Kroll: evelation 3:20, Jesus says to the Laodicean church, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock."

Jesus says, "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot." This church lacks a commitment to God. Verse 17 says, "Because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing'--and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked." They couldn't see how bad off they are. And, therefore, they couldn't see what God had in mind for them.

When you are so self-sufficient, you have a tendency to look at your own needs and not look at the needs of people around you.

Tami Weissert: Turn up the heat in your spiritual life, with help from bibleminute.org.
