Woodrow Kroll: Revelation 1 says, "'I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last,' verse 18, "'I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen ... The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands which you saw are the seven churches'" (Revelation 1:18-20, NKJV).

And where is Jesus in all of this? He is in the midst of the seven churches. Even in the future, Jesus is going to be right in the middle of our need.
