Tami Weissert: What if heaven is the real thing and this life is just a shadow? Here's today's Bible Minute with Woodrow Kroll.

Woodrow Kroll: See, we have a tendency to believe this is real, right now, this is reality; heaven is a dream. What if it's the other way around?

Hebrews 8:5 says that earthly priests serve at a sanctuary that is a copy and a shadow of what is in heaven. The real stuff is there, not here. Now, Hebrews 9:24 says, "Christ did not enter a man-made sanctuary that was only a copy of the true one; he entered heaven itself." This sanctuary is a man-made copy of what God has for real up there.

Then that means that your concept of heaven has to adapt to God's eternal reality. Where are you going to get an eternal reality of what heaven is like? Only in an eternal book, and that's the Bible.
